In conditions of unstable power supply in Ukraine, the main requirement for an incubator is reliability. Teplusha Green IB-88 is a universal soldier. Its main advantage, which overrides everything else, is a combined 12/220V control unit . If the light goes out, it will continue to heat from a regular car battery, and your laid eggs will not be lost. This is a model with an automatic "cradle" type overturn (tilt), which is as close as possible to natural hatching by a hen.

Practical operating tips

About 12 Volts: Although the incubator supports battery operation, pay attention to the package. The set of wires with "crocodiles" may not be included (depending on the batch), so we recommend that you prepare the connecting cables for connecting to the battery in advance. When switching to 12V, heating may occur a little slower, so it is better to additionally insulate the case with a blanket, without covering the ventilation holes.

How to regulate humidity? This model does not have an external water hole - this is done for better tightness. Water is poured into the grooves on the bottom (2 of them). Practice shows: you need to add water once every 2-3 days. You need to do this quickly: open the lid, add warm water, close it. The temperature will recover in 15 minutes, this does not harm the eggs.

A nuance with goose eggs. Since the rotation mechanism here is frame (lodging), large goose eggs (up to 28 pcs.) fit perfectly and are securely fixed, without falling out when tilted. This favorably distinguishes the IB-88 from models where the eggs simply roll on the grate.
