Description:
A BUTTER CHUCK IS USED IN THE PRODUCTION OF BUTTER IN HOUSEHOLD CONDITIONS BY PERIODICALLY CHEESING THE OIL CUTS TO PRODUCE BUTTERMILK
Very fatty and thickened cream must be diluted with milk or warm boiled water until it is fluid.
ATTENTION: Do not pour thick, undiluted cream or sour cream into the butter maker, this will cause the engine to stop and fail. If the engine speed slows down, the product needs to be diluted with warm (no more than 27 C) water.
The use of low-fat cream purchased online is not recommended for whipping butter.
Ready cream or sour cream is poured into the tank, the nominal load is 15 cm below the lid.
ATTENTION : Minimum load 5 liters.
Then, an electric drive is turned on, which rotates the shaft with the impeller. During operation, churning occurs, which leads to the formation of oil grains and the separation of the liquid phase - buttermilk.
During the churning process, it is necessary to periodically (after 15-30 minutes) visually assess the readiness of the oil. To do this, turn off the oiler and remove the lid. If the oil grains have gathered into a homogeneous granular mass, and the buttermilk has a transparent white color, then the process is considered complete.
If the air temperature is above average, ice can be used. After the churning is finished, disconnect the oil press from the mains and use a hose to drain the buttermilk from the tank into a separate container. (Buttermilk is a valuable food product.) Then, to remove the buttermilk residue, pour cold water into the tank with the remaining mass and treat the oilseed by stirring the mass with a spoon or wooden shovel. For better cleaning of the oilseed, repeat the washing.
After washing, spread clean paper or oilcloth on a flat surface with a slight slope and, after squeezing it slightly, spread the oil obtained on it in a thin layer to remove residual water. To speed up the process of removing water, the oil is stirred and kneaded with a wooden spoon. After removing residual water, the oil is collected in a sieve, the product is ready for use or storage.
After finishing work, the butter maker must be washed. To do this, disconnect it from the power supply, unscrew the screw securing the churn, remove it and wash it with hot water and detergent, then wipe it with a dry cloth, dry it and reassemble in the reverse order.
