NOVEEN IKN-20W operating principle:the trap has 2 lamps of 10 W. The insect trap operates from a 220 V network. The light emitted by the lamp attracts insects. Insects fly through the protective mesh, then fall on the mesh, which is energized, and die. There is an insect tray at the bottom of the trap. The tray is removable, you can take it out and clean it.
Additional information: works without the use of chemicals, does not emit harmful substances, is safe for humans, comes with a chain for hanging.
The insecticidal lamp effectively protects rooms from flying insects such as flies, mosquitoes, midges and wasps.
The NOVEEN IKN-20W device is perfect for: apartments, houses, garden gazebos, small utility rooms. The high efficiency of the lamp is ensured by the action of two elements: a special light source and an electric-destroying mesh. The ultraviolet radiation emitted by the lamp is absolutely safe for people and pets, and the insulating plastic case guarantees safe and long-term use of the lamp.
Operating Rules for the NOVEEN IKN-20W. Before use, read the enclosed instructions. In order to ensure maximum efficiency, it is recommended to hang the lamp at a height of 1.8-2 m, away from other light sources, insects attracted by light rays of the corresponding wavelength die on the grid under voltage and fall into an inconspicuous collector at the bottom of the lamp. To clean the collector, it must be unscrewed and carefully pulled out. The grid is easy to clean with a brush. Before cleaning the grid or insect container, unplug the lamp from the socket. In order to ensure maximum efficiency, it is recommended to use bulbs specially designed for light insecticidal traps.

High voltage! Do not touch the internal electrical network.
Never place metal objects inside the nets during operation.
Keep away from flammable substances.
Test the voltage at the site before operation.
Use away from children.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children.
Children should not play with the trap. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
The insect killer must not be used in barns, stables and similar places.
The appliance must not be used in places where flammable steam or explosive dust is likely to exist.
The appliance can be used as a hanging type or a pedestal. If as a hanging type, use only the attached chain and hang it in the place where the supports are fixed. When as a pedestal, place on a flat surface only.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning. Clean the plastic housing / grille with a dry cloth, clean the collection tray weekly or as needed.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children under 8 years of age.
