Mosquito Trap AMT 100 mosquito trap. Protects an area of 8 acres (on a bait cartridge) to 15 acres (subject to connecting a CO2 cylinder) from mosquitoes, night moths and other flying insects.

The Mosquito Trap AMT 100 mosquito trap contains a large container into which mosquitoes are sucked, mosquitoes and other insects that come into contact with the device body or are in close proximity to it. The special bait works flawlessly thanks to six carefully thought-out and tested methods:

1. Lactic acid. A substance produced by the human body, especially during physical activity when sweating, the smell of which is captured by insects and attracts them.

2. Octenol. A natural food component that simulates the smell of the human body, thereby attracting insects. Octenol and lactic acid together with wax are the main components of the RapidActionTM bait cartridges.

3. Ultraviolet light. Mosquitoes can detect the ultraviolet spectrum at a great distance and are always attracted to its source.

4. Carbon dioxide (CO2). Mosquitoes have a highly developed sense of smell and can search for prey at a great distance. They are attracted by the humidity of human breath and carbon dioxide, which is a by-product of breathing. Using the catalysis process and ultraviolet rays, the device produces a small amount of carbon dioxide and humidity. Connecting a CO2 cylinder to the device significantly increases its attractiveness to mosquitoes and increases the catch by 2 times.

5. Black color. The body of the Mosquito Trap AMT 64 / 100 is painted black, which always attracts their attention.

6. Heat. Mosquitoes sense the heat generated by the human body. The surface of the housing has approximately the same temperature as human skin. This significantly increases the likelihood of insects coming into contact with the housing for the purpose of biting.

The container requires cleaning as it fills (usually no more than once a week). Replace the Rapid ActionTM bait cartridges and the CO2 cylinder no more than once a month.

Increasing the efficiency of the system: Additionally, to increase the area of action and the efficiency of attracting mosquitoes, you can connect a carbon dioxide (CO2) cylinder to the mosquito killer. You can purchase any 5L or 10L cylinder and refill as needed. Carbon dioxide is released from the device in small quantities, simulating human breathing, thus attracting more mosquitoes. The cylinder is connected simply by connecting to the device using a silicone tube.
