Vacuum milking unit UID-10 S80 is a part of the milking machine, which is responsible for creating a vacuum. It can be equipped with suspended equipment for large and small cattle. The device is suitable for dairy farms and small farms. In an hour of work with its help it is possible to milk up to 17 cows or 80 goats.

Parts of the milking machine also include a milk can and a spider of the “Maiga” system. They are not included in the delivery set.

With the vacuum unit Protek UID-10 S80, milking one cow takes 6-7 minutes, a goat - 2-3 minutes. The productivity of 12.6 m³/hour allows

connecting additional milking lines.

After 60 minutes of operation, a break must be taken. Exceeding the recommended continuous operation time may cause breakdown.

Features of the design of the power unit

The design of the power unit is modular, that is, the engine and pump are connected by a V-belt clutch, and not directly.

The equipment is assembled on a metal frame. It is equipped with wheels and is of a mobile type. The power unit consists of: an engine, a pump and a receiver. A metal vacuum regulator is used to adjust the vacuum. The delivery set includes a vacuum gauge, which is needed to monitor the pressure.

The Protek UID-10 C80 milking installation has a manual valve for draining condensate. A 6 A circuit breaker is used to protect against voltage surges. If necessary, a moisture protection unit can be installed.

Engine

Engine power. The engine is connected to a standard 220 V network.

Shaft rotation speed is 1500 rpm.

The engine belongs to the 3rd category of electrical appliances, that is, it must be used indoors. In summer, a canopy can be installed to protect against precipitation when using the UID-10 S80 milking machine.

Pump

The vacuum pump has a capacity of 12.6 m³/hour. Inside there are graphite blades measuring 40 × 80 × 5 mm.

The pump belongs to the dry type and has a closed design. Dry pumps do not use lubricants, which affects the wear of the plates. It occurs faster, which means that the graphite blades need to be replaced more often.

The pump is a separate module: the rotor has its own shaft, and is not installed on the motor shaft. Bearings are installed in the cover in which the shaft rotates.

Recommendations for use

The UID-10 S80 milking machine can be used in a wide temperature range. Before starting, check the wires and motor for condensation. Drops of water on these units can cause a short circuit. Drain moisture from the receiver after each use.
