The propane repeller is an effective tool in large open areas. One such repeller can protect from 3 to 7 hectares.

The principle of operation of all propane repellers is as follows:

A gas cylinder is connected to the repeller, the gas from which, after a certain period of time, enters the detonation chamber and is ignited using a piezoelectric element or electric ignition, depending on the type of propane repeller device. After the spark is supplied, an explosion occurs in the detonation chamber. The detonation chamber is designed in such a way that the gas in it does not ignite, but explodes. After detonation, the sound is directed into the barrel of the repeller, where it is amplified by the conical shape of the barrel, and as a result we hear a bang similar to a gunshot, the volume of which ranges from 119 to 124 decibels.

Today, there are 2 types of repellers.   "Mechanical" and "Electronic".

The main difference between a mechanical repeller and an electronic one is that it does not require an additional power source and works exclusively from the compressed gas supplied to it.

But the advantage of electronic models is the ability to program shot intervals in the range from 2 to 30 minutes or random selection, programming the Day-Night-Day + Night operating modes, the ability to set the double shot mode. 

An electronic model with a solar battery can work without additional charging from the network, because the battery is charged by the sun.
